A.I.C. Nairobi Training Centre offers vocational training courses in catering, hair design, beauty therapy, dressmaking by offering sponsorships to needy youth from vulnerable backgrounds. We also offer Skilled Courses for Self Sponsored youth in core areas such as ICT and Accounting besides conducting career guidance and youth assessment as well as comprehensive life skills sessions and counselling services to broadly understand trainee concerns. Youth are also mobilised into youth groups and business clubs where they seek strategies to promote self employment. Our courses are modular and competency based, aiming to increase the relationship between beneficiaries and the community, where we also support caregivers and parents of beneficiaries come up with strategies such as self help groups, to enhance their financial base, and as such, lift themselves off the debilitating yoke of poverty.
