  • An earned a Ph.D degree ineither Non-renewable Resources or Forest Resources from a recognized institution higher learning.

OR

DIVISION OF ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE

AUDIT DEPARTMENT

  1. INTERNAL AUDITING MANAGERGRADE 15 (1 Post )EU/AF/2014-0929

The candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:-

  • Must have master degree in relevant field and CIA or CPA final or CISA (Certified Information Systems Audit) Final or its equivalent.
  • Must be computer literate and conversant with SAGE ACCPAC.
  • Must have at least eight (8) experiences in Audit work at senior level in Government, Parastatal or equivalent organization.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undertake audit duties in all campuses and departments of the University and liaise with Government Auditors.
  • Should be able to prepare workable audit programmes, supervise and direct a team of internal auditors as a leader.
  • He/she will also be expected to prepare periodic audit reports for the University Management.
  • Must be a member of relevant professional bodies.

ESTATES DEPARTMENT

  1. ESTATES MANAGER GRADE 13(1 Post ) EU/AF/2014-0930

The candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:-

  • Must be a Kenyan citizen with a degree in Land Economics, Architecture Construction, Management or Engineering. Possession of a Masters Degree in Facilities Management or related field will be an advantage.
  • Must be registered with the relevant Registration Board of Estates Managers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors or Facility Managers or Engineers.
  • Must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience, five (5) of them at a senior level in an organization with a large asset portfolio
  • This is a senior position which requires a result oriented person with excellent interpersonal skills, high integrity and Computer literate.
  • The successful candidate will report to the Deputy Vice -Chancellor (Administration & Finance) and will be required to maintain a register of all University property including furniture and general fixtures, coordinate the maintenance and repairs of the University buildings, plants and equipment including the management of service contracts, handle land administration matters, including lease preparations extensions and payment of land taxes and supervision of a sizeable workforce.

DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

  1. ICT MANAGER GRADE 13(1 POST) EU/AF/2014-0931
  • ­­Must be a Kenyan Citizen and holder of at least Masters degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
  • A PhD degree in computer Science or IT will be an added advantage
  • Applicants must have at least seven (7) years experience, three (3) of them at a Senior Management level
  • Must have strong Proficiency in computer technology & telecommunication with exposure to open source software including Unix, Linux and Oracle
  • Must have participated in roll out of large client/Server and database industry MYSQL/SQL 2000 Systems and have capacity to oversee and supervise a centralized global institutional network.
  • Duties will include management and coordination of ICT services in the University including systems, website services and provide IT solution on all University System
  • ­­Must be a Kenyan Citizen and holder of at least Masters degree in Computer Science or its equivalent

Grade 11 Kshs.69,794 – 99642/= per month

Grade 10 Kshs.38,566 – 51,447/= per month

Grade 8 Kshs.33,410 – 48,371/= per month

Grade 7 Kshs.24,646 – 32,121/= Per month
