Jomo Kenyatta University Of Agriculture And Technology Graduation 2014, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology will hold its 24th Graduation Ceremony, Monday November 24, 2014, and not Friday November 28, as earlier communicated. The new date accommodates pioneer graduands of the Pan African University of Basic Sciences, Technology and Innovation, hosted at JKUAT.
During the Ceremony, Prof. Geoffrey Maloiy, Chancellor, will confer JKUAT degrees while Dr. Nkozozana Dlamini-Zuma, the Chairperson of African Union Commission will confer masters degrees to the PAUSTI graduands.
PAUSTI, a graduate school conceived and implemented by the African Union, is a third generation university geared to produce African-centered knowledge with global appeal and reach. It offers programmes in Mathematics, Molecular biology and Biotechnology; Civil Engineering & construction management and Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
PAUSTI is the first among the five Institutes of the Pan African University spread across the continent to graduate students.
The rehearsals for the ceremony will be conducted Sunday November 23, 2014 at the Graduation Pavilion, main campus beginning 8: 00 am. The November graduation is the second to be conducted in 2014, with the first one stage in June 2014. Congratulations to the 2014 Class.
24th GRADUATION CEREMONY: CHANGE OF DATE
This is to inform all candidates who qualified for conferment of degrees and the award of various diplomas of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology during the 2013/2014 academic year that the 24 th JKUAT Graduation Ceremony will be held on Monday 24th November 2014 at 8:15am at the Graduation Pavilion, Main Campus, Juja and NOT Friday 28th November 2014 as earlier announced.The information regarding preparations for the ceremony is as detailed below:
(i) Examination Results
The results of examinations sat in the 2013/2014 academic year are available from the offices of the respective Deans/Directors during working hours from Friday 24th October 2014.The graduands should confirm the inclusion of their names in the graduation lists with their respective Deans/Directors. Further, the candidates should ensure that their names are as they should appear on their certificates in terms of order of names andspelling correctness. This confirmation should be done from Monday, November 10th,2014.
(ii)Confirmation of Names
The list of graduands for the 24thGraduation will be available on the JKUAT website www.jkuat.ac.kefrom Monday 10 th November, 2014
.(iii)Rehearsal
Graduands wishing to participate in the ceremony MUST attend the rehearsal at the Graduation Square on Sunday November 23rd, 2014 at 10.00 a.m. Graduands attending the rehearsal must be seated by the stated hour and be in complete academicattire.
(iv)Fees
Any outstanding fees must be cleared by Monday, November 3rd 2014. Those with fee balances will be excluded from the graduation list.A mandatory non-refundable fee as stated below must be paid not later than Friday, November 14th 2014 .
