Maseno University Graduation Ceremony 2016, Maseno University wishes to inform all students who qualified for conferment of various degrees and award of diplomas and certificates in the 2015/2016 Academic Year, and members of the general public, that the 16th Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday, 16th December, 2016, at the Graduation Square, Siriba Campus from 8.00am.
The names of prospective graduands will be posted on the University website, http://www.maseno.ac.ke by 7th November, 2016. Any corrections MUST be communicated to the Registrar, Academic and Student Affairs by 14th November, 2016. Corrections will NOT be accepted thereafter
APPLICATION
All prospective graduands MUST register for graduation through the Students Portal www.maseno.ac.ke by 16th November, 2016.
Only those students who have fully cleared fees will be able to access the portal.
CLEARANCE
All qualified candidates MUST clear fully with the University by Friday, 16th November, 2016in order to receive their certificates after graduation. Certificates will only be issued to those who have cleared and surrendered their graduation attire.
GRADUATION/CONVOCATION GOWN HIRE FEES
The following are mandatory charges for the various categories of graduands: PhDs Ksh 5,000/=, Masters Ksh 4,500/=,Postgraduate Diplomas, Bachelors and Certificates/Diplomas Ksh 4,000/=. Payments should be made at Equity Bank, Account Number 1120297065141,Luanda or at any other branch countrywide.
HIRE OF ACADEMIC ATTIRE
The academic attire will be available for hire between Monday, 12thto Wednesday, 14th December, 2016 from the offices of the respective Deans of Schools. The form for hiring academic attire should be downloaded from the University website. Each graduand will receive three(3) invitation cards. Nobody will be allowed into the Graduation Square without an invitation card.
REHEARSAL
All Graduands MUST attend the rehearsal on Thursday, 15th December, 2016 at the Graduation Square from 10.00am.
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
All graduates are deemed alumni of Maseno University and are advised to register on the University website. There will be a meeting on Thursday, 15th December, 2016 at 2.00pm in the Graduation Square. All alumni are invited to attend.
PUNCTUALITY
All graduands and invited guests MUST be seated by 7.45am.
COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES
Certificates will be ready for collection from Tuesday 20thDecember, 2016. Certificates not collected beyond a period of three (3) Year shall attract a storage fee of Ksh1,200 per year or proportionate fraction thereof.
