Multimedia University Of Kenya Faculty Of Engineering, Engineering is the profession in which the knowledge of basic sciences and that earned from engineering studies, experience and practice are applied to develop, and to create methods, machinery and equipment with optimum use of materials and resources for the benefit the humankind.

Dean’s Message

Engineering is the profession in which the knowledge of basic sciences and that earned from engineering studies, experience and practice are applied to develop, and to create methods, machinery and equipment with optimum use of materials and resources for the benefit the humankind.

True to the above definition, the Faculty strives to meet the challenges of engineering and along with that aspires to achieve a mutual supportive balance among undergraduate and graduate education, research and service to the community.

We offer Bachelor of Science degrees in Telecommunication and Information Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electronic and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Control and Instrumentation, and Physics. So far, there are two departments that host these programmes, namely, the Department of Electrical & Information Engineering and the Department of Mechanical and Manufaturing Engineering.
