South Eastern Kenya University Main Campus, Welcome to the South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU). The University is a fully fledged University and is the successor to the South Eastern University College (SEUCO) which was a Constituent College of the University of Nairobi.

The University has undergone tremendous growth since inception in 2008. The current student population stands at around 6,000 students. We pride ourselves in having highly qualified teaching staff consisting of Professors and lecturers most of whom have a Ph. D and vast experience in both teaching and research.

This ensures that our students are well equipped with knowledge in their areas of study that makes them stand out from the rest. Our focus is producing all round graduates able to contribute to the development of this country.

Campus

South Eastern Kenya University Mtito Andei Campus

Dr. Matheaus K. Kauti has a PhD in Environmental Studies from Tohoku University, Japan (2009). Master of Arts (Urban Geography) from University of Nairobi (2004) and Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honors, Geography Major) from University of Nairobi (1998). He joined South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) in 2010. Dr. Kauti was appointed the Ag. Director, Mtito-Andei Campus in August 2012. Previously he was Chairman, Department of Environmental Science and Technology, School of Environment and Natural Resources Management from 2010 to 2012.

South Eastern Kenya University Wote Campus

SEKU Wote Campus is one of the four satellite campuses of the University. The campus is located at Soi Plaza building, 2nd floor, above Equity Bank in Wote Town, the headquarters of Makueni County, and about 140km from Kitui main campus. The campus began its operations in March, 2012. Currently, the campus has a student population of 315 who are taking classes in different regular, part-time and institutional-based programmes.

South Eastern Kenya University Machakos Campus

South Eastern Kenya University Machakos Town campus is located along Ngei road in the serene premises of Kiamba Mall (Naivas Super Centre) 4th floor within the Machakos Central Business District. The central location makes it convenient for the working class students and those who wish to commute from neighboring towns.

South Eastern Kenya University Kitui Campus

Kitui town Campus is located at Kitui town along Kilungya Street on the 3rd and 4th floor Mututo plaza and on the 3rd and 4th floor John Ngonde Arcade, The campus provides regular, part time, weekend and institution based modes of study for certificate, diploma, undergraduate and post graduates levels.
